For over 40 years, Canby has retained a reputation of producing top quality seedlings. We have 90 acres of deep, well drained sandy loam which facilitates timely lifting without "muddy roots". This soil is capable of facilitating height control, root culturing and early hardening-off. It is less prone to root diseases and other problems caused by saturated, compact soil conditions. A new cold storage facility (pictured below) offers below market-rate seedling storage for contract customers.
